Our family recently had the pleasure of staying at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, and I can honestly say it exceeded every expectation. The resort itself is beautiful. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and impeccably maintained. Every meal we had was outstanding, whether dining in the restaurants or ordering room service. The pool experience was equally exceptional, with attentive, friendly service that made it easy to relax and enjoy our vacation. The Fourth of July celebrations were simply incredible. The Freedom Fest activities and concerts were first-class, and the fireworks display was great. It made celebrating America's birthday with our family an unforgettable experience. What truly sets this resort apart, however, is its people. Every single staff member we encountered—from check-in to housekeeping, the restaurants, poolside attendants, room service, and everyone in between—treated us with genuine kindness, professionalism, and hospitality. It never felt forced; every interaction made us feel welcomed and appreciated. That level of service is rare and is a direct reflection of an outstanding team and leadership. Thank you to everyone at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess for making our family vacation one we'll remember for a long time. Your commitment to excellence shows in every detail, but most importantly, it shows in the people who make this resort such a special place. We'll absolutely be back to celebrate America's birthday again next year. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

I've lived just three miles from the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess for the past 11 years, so I've seen this resort through many seasons and have always considered it one of Scottsdale's premier destinations. That's why my visit on the evening of July 4 was so disappointing. The Plaza Bar, which I remember as having an upscale and relaxed atmosphere, felt noticeably different. The crowd was much louder and rowdier than I expected for a luxury resort. I also observed interactions near the bar that gave me the impression that some people may have been meeting for paid companionship, along with several groups whose appearance and behavior made the environment feel less refined and less comfortable than I remember. I understand that July 4th is one of the busiest nights of the year and naturally attracts larger, more diverse crowds. Still, I was surprised by the overall atmosphere, which didn't reflect the level of elegance and service I've long associated with the Scottsdale Princess. After living nearby for more than a decade, it was disappointing to see what felt like a noticeable change in the character of the resort. Today, it seems to cater more to large crowds and entertainment than to the refined luxury experience that once set it apart. At times, it felt more like a busy amusement destination than a five-star resort. Given the current room rates, I believe there are several other luxury resorts in Scottsdale that offer a more peaceful, sophisticated experience and a higher level of service for a similar price. I sincerely hope management refocuses on the elegance and hospitality that made the Scottsdale Princess one of the area's premier destinations.

The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is a beautiful resort, and the vast majority of the staff we encountered were welcoming, professional, and provided the level of service you would expect from a luxury property. Unfortunately, our overall experience was overshadowed by how one situation was handled by the Director of Security and the General Manager. Following an incident during our stay, we were informed that the resort had reached a conclusion regarding our involvement. Throughout the process, despite respectfully asking for an explanation of how that conclusion was reached, we were never provided with verifiable evidence or a meaningful explanation supporting the decision. As a result, we were left feeling that our concerns were not genuinely considered. Hoping to better understand what had occurred, I contacted Accor Guest Relations. My expectation was not that they would necessarily change the outcome, but that they would review the matter and provide a final response. Over the course of more than three months, I remained courteous, followed up multiple times, and have still not received any response. The lack of communication from Accor has been just as disappointing as the original experience at the resort. This review is not a reflection of the many outstanding employees we interacted with or the property itself, both of which deserve recognition. It is specifically a reflection of how this matter was handled by the resort’s leadership and the subsequent lack of communication from Accor. For brands that position themselves as leaders in luxury hospitality, I expected a higher standard of professionalism, transparency, accountability, and guest communication. Because of this experience, I no longer have the same confidence in staying at Fairmont or other Accor properties in the future.

The door to our room will not open with the keys provided. I had to leave my family in front of the door sitting on the ground as i walked back and forth twice to the front lobby. They finally sent security and they were able to open the door. The front desk did provide a $100 accommodation to make up for the issue. We only used $88 at the hacienda restaurant in the resort. We asked the hacienda to bring the food to our room but they advised that they didn’t do that. We walked to the restaurant and picked up our food. The next day as i tried to check out of the room on the tv. It showed that owed $47.95 balance and would not allow me to check out. Walked again all the way to the lobby and talked to the front desk where a lady advised me that I had a steak last night and that’s why I have a balance. I explained to her multiple times that we did not have any steak and that we should have a credit if $12. She went inside to talk to her supervisor and after waiting for a while, she returned and advised that it was a mistake and it’s just an error on their side. She proceeded to advise that now I need to pay $28.50 for parking. I asked about the credit that we should still have and she kept telling me that the best she can do is that I need to pay $28.50 and that’s all she can do. I went ahead and payed it but we will never return to this resort again.

I was disappointed with my stay. The hotel is dated and in need of renovation. While I do not expect every property to be new, the overall condition appeared worn and in need of upkeep. The main issue was my room’s location. It was directly next to a storage room that staff accessed frequently throughout the day and night. Doors were opening and closing at all hours, which made it difficult to get uninterrupted sleep or enjoy a quiet stay. In addition, the hotel keeps the pool open late into the evening. Noise from children playing and screaming continued until around 10:30 p.m., which contributed to higher overall noise levels. There did not appear to be measures in place to encourage quieter hours during the evening. The lobby was also uncomfortably hot and poorly ventilated, which made the check-in experience unpleasant and immediately set a negative tone for the stay. For guests seeking a more restful stay, it may be advisable to request a room away from the storage areas and pool, or to consider alternative accommodations. Overall, the dated condition of the hotel and the ongoing noise issues affected the quality of the stay.

This place is absolutely amazing! From the moment you step on their property you are treated like royalty. An absolutely unbelievable experience and some of the best service I've ever received in my life. The amenities, the facilities, the food, the customer service is above top-notch. I can't say enough good things about the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess resort. For a truly unforgettable experience, book at the Fairmont while you're in Scottsdale. You'll feel like you're in Paradise!

Absolutely incredible weekend at the Princess. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was top-tier. The grounds were beautiful, the staff was friendly, and everything felt clean, organized, and well-maintained. The pool experience was exactly what we needed a perfect mix of relaxation, great music, good food, and amazing vibes. Whether you're looking for a family getaway, a couples retreat, or just a day to unwind, this place delivers. The highlight of the night was definitely the fireworks show. Watching the sky light up while surrounded by great company made for an unforgettable experience. The ambiance throughout the entire resort was second to none, especially as the sun went down and everything transitioned into the evening atmosphere. This was one of those experiences where you leave already planning your next visit. Arizona staycations don't get much better than this. Highly recommend. 10/10 experience.
